WHAT HAPPENS

To give you an idea of what takes place during the four day session the first three days consist of the following programme

Divide into teams
Do 5-6 drills to present valuable coaching points
Short drinks break
Talk
Review of talks with team leaders/small group time (to make sure the young people understand talk, allow them to ask any questions and a time to share with them or to allow them to share with you)
Mini matches

The last day then takes the form of a world cup day. Teams are divided up, players represent a country appropriate to their bib colour and group matches are played. Then again the gospel message is simply proclaimed in a ten minute talk. A review time is in the middle then quarter finals, semi-finals and a final is played followed by presentation of Medals.

WHEN IT HAPPENS

The main event in our calendar is the 2nd week in August each year when we run our Summer Camp

There is three sessions each day. The first runs from 10 -11.30am and this is with P2-P4. The second runs from 12-2pm and this is for P5-Year 8. The last session then takes place at Cranfield and is for p5-Year 8 and runs from 3-5pm. Every child is presented with a medal and on the Thursday night parent’s night Barbecue, after the world cup day, prizes are given out to player of the week boy/girl and player of the tournament boy/girl.
